AN APPEAL TO OUR YOUTH

Lebanon today is in crisis. It suffers from a myriad of problems. Its sovereignty and independence are non-existent, as a result of the total Syrian control of Lebanon's decision making process. Syria has been illegally occupying Lebanon since 1976 and also controls the unconstitutional and illegitimate Lebanese government.

The current Syrian appointed government has done nothing for Lebanon, except help dig its grave as a nation. The puppet government has ruined the economy, signed agreements with Syria which are one sided and violated what's left of Lebanon's sovereignty by allowing Syria to directly intervene in Lebanon's internal affairs.

The government headed by Emile Lahoud, Rafic Hariri and Nabih Berri or "The three stooges" as they are affectionately known by the Lebanese people has worked against the will of the people, suppressed basic and fundamental human rights, and sold Lebanon to their masters in Damascus in return for money and fame.

We the youth of Lebanon, must help put a stop to this blatant disregard for Lebanon and its people. We must not accept the current status quo. Without its youth, Lebanon will die a slow and painful death. Will you stand by and watch or will you come to the rescue?

We are the future, it is up to us the new generation to stand up and protect the Land of the Cedars. Prime Minister General Michel Aoun once told the Lebanese people that ". Life without freedom is a form of death." after 24 years of total Syrian hegemony over Lebanon nothing is more true to life than that famous quote. We now have a chance to make our voice heard and we too are here to say that "Life without freedom is a form of death".

We will no longer accept the situation as it is, We the youth are the future of Lebanon. All Lebanese no matter what religion or political beliefs must remain united and we have to accept the mission with zeal and enthusiasm.
Together we can bring about a Lebanon free from all foreign forces.
Together we can bring about a Lebanon that the martyrs died for.
Together we can bring about a strong Lebanon, which we are all proud of.

The key to a free Lebanon is the youth. Everyone can contribute. To defend Lebanon, we don't need guns. Join organizations whose aim is to see a free Lebanon and who defend our rights and freedoms. Speak out against the lies of the Syrians and their Lebanese slaves, form lobby groups and inform people of the situation.

We cannot sit back while our country is being raped and murdered. Anyone with a conscience must work to ensure that Lebanon is liberated from this nightmare before its too late. We must come to the aid of Lebanon in its hour of need. You must remember that you are the leaders of tomorrow.
You are the future and now is the time to act.
Do not let this opportunity pass!
Long Live Free Lebanon
